Sales & Business Development Director

We are seeking a highly motivated Director, Sales & Business Development, Central Lab Services, at Medicover Integrated Clinical Services with a proven track record and documented success in making an immediate impact and delivering results in the healthcare market.

Medicover Integrated Clinical Services (former Synevo Central Labs) is a specialised business unit within Medicover Diagnostic Services division with the overarching objective to help bring innovative therapies and diagnostics to the market working with pharmaceuticals. diagnostics, biopharma, biotech companies and CROs throughout the world.

Our Central Lab Services provide comprehensive services to coordinate every aspect of clinical trial laboratory part. We combine our professional experience and operational excellence to support clinical trial sponsors and CROs from study setup to final laboratory results submission. Our service portfolio covers laboratory testing, central lab project management, investigator support, sample management, logistics, data management and reporting.


Your main tasks:

  • Connect our core regions in Europe and work with our key partners abroad and in the US
  • engage potential customers while promoting our clinical trial, central lab and genetic testing services through our local outreach program within our geographic areas
  • Identify new key clients in the target markets and expand on existing network of customers
  • Evaluate proposals and quotations and ensure timely completion within agreed boundaries of profitability and based on adequate assumptions.
  • Meet ambitious financial targets and personal goals

Your skill set

  • 5+ years’ experience selling clinical research services to the pharma, biotech companies and CROs with direct interaction to mid-level and executive level decision makers
  • An established network of decision makers within Clinical Research Organizations, Pharmaceutical companies, Biotech and Medtech Industry
  • Strong business acumen, strategic, negotiation, communication and interpersonal skills
  • A competitive, self-reliant and driven attitude to manage at a senior level
  • Bachelor’s degree in life science or business field
  • Fluency in English is mandatory
