Good Clinical Laboratory Practice (GCLP) is An International Quality System for Laboratories that undertake the analyses of samples from Clinical Trials in compliance with the requirements of Good Clinical Practice (GCP).
Medicover Integrated Clinical Services has obtained the GCLP accreditation in 2014 as one of the FIRST central laboratories with a network of fully accredited facilities.
The GCLP Accreditation Scheme has been developed under the umbrella of the Research Quality Association and involves the assessment of the clinical laboratories against the Good Clinical Laboratory Practice (GCLP) standard as published by RQA, formerly the British Association of Research Quality Assurance (BARQA).
GCLP Accreditation inspections are conducted by members of the RQA or independent companies acting under the formal approval of the RQA.
The accreditation demonstrates that Medicover Integrated Clinical Services operates to a standards that ensures patients rights and maintains their confidentiality as well as assuring the reliability, quality and integrity of the work and results produced.
We are proud to announce that we have just extended the GCLP accreditation for the next 2 years, until September 2023 and that we are still the only network of central laboratories with the accreditation in the region.
