We are pleased to welcome Thorben Witte to Medicover Integrated Clinical Services (MICS), where he has taken on the role of Director, Site Management Organisation.
Thorben Witte brings over 15 years of international clinical research experience across early- and late-phase development, including leadership roles at large CROs and SMOs. He holds an MBA in Pharmaceutical Business Administration from Goethe Business School and a First Class BSc in Clinical Research from the University of Wales.
On joining Medicover Integrated Clinical Services, Thorben said: After several years on the CRO side, I now get to step back into the site management world and help build and grow a truly patient-centered organization with an outstanding track record and real ambition to expand. What excites me most is the chance to learn from the Medicover team how they deliver this level of care and to work with them on turning that into the new gold standard in the SMO space, so that even more patients can access healthcare of this quality.
Thorben leads a growing Site Management Organisation network across Poland and Germany, with full P&L ownership and a mandate spanning operational excellence, organic growth, and integration of acquired sites. He is focused on building high-performing, patient-centered site operations that support faster, higher-quality clinical trial delivery.
